The Wig

As my hair look is going to be a wig, and the key link between advertisement, catwalk and editorial I really want it to stand out in each image, but with a twist. This twist will be how I dress it is different accessories. 

I was really wanting to create my own wig from scratch but as I am still learning how to knott, I don't think that I would have enough time to make it. So what I have done is get a Marie Antoinette wig from a fancy dress shop, and got a white spray paint can and covered the wig. I did this for two reasons, firstly, the wig is made out of synthetic hair and is really white and glossy and two my theme is texture so I wanted to make it look like a painting. The result I got was great as you can see from the images below.

When it comes to each look the way it will differ is from the hair accessories I place in it to fit the mood and colour theme.

For example, for the advertisement Day shoot it is going to be pastel and sweet looking, so the hair will have the pastel flowers and white butterflies. For the night look I want to have darker coloured butterflies to match the chosen lipstick from my chosen brand.

I don't think anything will need changing as I really love this idea of changing the wig accessories not the whole entire wig, plus good for my money side as I don't have that much to spend!
